Paddle to the iconic Mokulua Island bird sanctuaries! These islands are frequently photographed but remain elusive due to a limited number of permits. Experience the pristine snorkeling in sea turtle feeding grounds. We are proud to share this privilege with a few lucky guests.

• All participants must be able to swim.
• Kayaking is a physical activity that does require a moderate level of fitness.
Are pets allowed?
Certified service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA guidelines. For safety reasons, all service animals must wear a properly fitted life jacket while on our kayaks or equipment. This policy is in place to protect both the animal and our guests while on the water.
• Kayaks must also be transported via cart to the beach (5-10 min walk). ALL KAYAKS MUST BE TRANSPORTED BY THE CUSTOMER TO THE BEACH. THIS IS THE LAW SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS REQUIRMENT.
• Minumum Age 13 to join our group tours. Under 13 can join a private-group tour.
• Ages 13-16 must ride in a double kayak with a parent or guardian.
• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• There is a 2-Person minimum for group tours. We will help to coordinate with other guests as needed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Outside of 48 Hours of your Activity:
•Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund.
•Reschedule for free. Rental Cancellation Policy
•Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times.
Within 48 Hours of your Activity:
•Cancellations will incur a full charge or a $25/Person fee to reschedule (unless you have purchased Trip Protection.)
•Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times at the $25 fee each time but will no longer be eligible for refunds.

Carts for walking and instructions will be provided. This takes 8-12 min and is not difficult for adults of average fitness.

Commonly known as "The Mokes", this pair of islands lies 3/4 mile off of Lanikai Beach or 2 1/2 miles from Kailua Beach. Moku Nui is the left Island and allows landings Mon-Sat with a State Permit (available when reserving kayaks).

This Island is a Seabird Sanctuary that requires a landing permit from the State. Permits are $3 and are available Mon-Sat from our shop. The island was formed as a fossilized coral bed and lies 1/4 mile from Kailua Beach.
