2-HOUR Guided Kayak Tour

Discover the natural wonders of Kailua Bay on our 2-hour eco kayak tour. Join a small group and paddle to nearby destinations, including the protected Popoiʻa Island, home to nesting seabirds. Take an easy eco-hike around the island and explore the fascinating tide pools while enjoying a refreshing snack. With the majestic Koʻolau Mountain Range and dormant volcanoes providing a stunning backdrop, there is no shortage of Hawaiian and geological history to discover. Keep an eye out for the Hawaiian Green Sea-Turtle, affectionately known as "Honu", as they call these waters home and may just swim by to say hello.

Check-In

Arrive 15 min before tour time or earlier to take advantage of beach time including snorkeling/beach gear before tour. (If on 1:15 tour, we suggest arriving at 10am if you wish to take advantage of the snorkeling before the tour).

Kayak to Popoi'a

Kayak through sea turtle feeding grounds as you navigate 1/2 mile out to the coral reef sanctuary.

Island Eco Tour

Guided Walk around the seabird sanctuary: Discover nesting seabirds, native plant species, geological marvels, and learn about local history in this interactive tour.

Return Kayaks

~30min

Enjoy the tradewinds express: Kayak back and wheel kayaks back to our shop. Enjoy showers and changing rooms.

Beach Time

Debrief with your guide and use snorkels, bikes, boogie boards from our shop for the rest of the day. Depart at your leisure.

Note: Beach time can be switched with the kayaking portion if tour is after 10:30.

We close at 5PM so check in early to partake in beach time (snorkel/boogie) if joining our 1:15 tour or later.

Private Tour $339/per person (1-2 People; Adult or Child 5+)

Designed for those who want their own private tour, at their own pace. Treat yourself. Participants 5-17 Must be accompanied by a guardian.

Private "Family" Tour $239/per person (3 or More People; Adults or Children 5+)

The perfect option for those with childred under 8 years old or a party that wants to keep their tour exlusive. Don't worry about keeping up with the pace of a group. Participants 5-17 Must be accompanied by a guardian.

We have a full service water sports shop with everything you might need, discounted for tour customers.

• Minimum 8 years-old for group tours.

• Under 8 can book private-group tours.

• Participants under 16 must paddle in a double kayak with an adult, 18 or older.

• All participants must be able to swim.

• Kayaking is a physical activity that does require a moderate level of fitness.

• Kayaks must be transported by the guest via cart to the beach (5-10 min walk). THIS IS THE LAW SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS REQUIRMENT.

• There is a 2-Person minimum for group tours. We will help to coordinate with other guests as needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Outside of 48 Hours of your Activity:

•Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund.

•Reschedule for free.

•Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times.

Within 48 Hours of your Activity:

•Cancellations will incur a full charge or a $25/Person fee to reschedule (unless you have purchased Trip Protection.)

•Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times at the $25 fee each time but will no longer be eligible for refunds.
